i can be

I gave a talk to a charming group of young ladies as part of the wonderful I Can Be program, which brings 7 and 8 year-old girls into the world of work, helping them to discover the breadth of opportunity around them.

Being involved with I Can Be is very important to me as I have always believed that it’s easier to shape a new generation than change an old one.

If we want to affect real change in gender equality, we need to look broader than our own self-fulfilment and invest our wisdom and efforts into the generations to come, enabling them to overcome the stigmas, stereotypes and limitations that we’ve faced.
